about

Who are we? Camp Cheyenne is a 501c3 nonprofit incorporated in the state of Florida that was created in memory of my daughter, Cheyenne. During one of our last conversations, Cheyenne wished she could live to build a relaxing place where families going through treatments could vacation for free.

What do we offer? Camp Cheyenne provides low-income families with a child going through serious, life-threatening medical treatments with a 100% free, weeklong vacation in nature to recharge and reconnect.

Where? Camp Cheyenne will be a 21-acre nature oasis located in the Florida panhandle. This great location is near beautiful white sand beaches with emerald green water. The Florida panhandle weather allows us to host families all year.

When? Camp Cheyenne hopes to begin hosting families by the spring of 2025. Camp Cheyenne will host over 80 families a year.

Why build Camp Cheyenne? Prolonged serious medical treatments affect the entire family causing stress, anxiety, depression, anger, and loneliness. Studies have shown that vacations help mental, emotional, and physical health. Camp Cheyenne provides families with a worry-free time to recharge and reconnect. â€‹
